The Partner Carousel

Thirty years at the top of the sport, one partnership at a time. Every dancer is a dot that keeps its colour for life, and every couple is two dots on one rung of the ladder, ranked by the couple's BallroomRank score after its latest competition. When a partnership ends, its dancers drift to the sideline, then fly to their next partner. A couple stays on the board for a year after its last competition, like the site's past-year rankings, unless the partnership has already ended. The tally below compares each new partnership's score a year after its debut with the old partnership's last score. Pick a country to rank only the couples dancing for it at the time, or an association to keep the couples who danced under it in the past year.
